Kill Detricus at The Infinity Gate
Find Detricus in The Infinity Gate at

The Detricus fight can be rather difficult for an ‘at level’ player. If you have difficulties, you may want to go to a different zone to level up a bit more and then come back and try again.
There are a few mechanics to deal with during the fight.. (Video below)
Electric Pulse – A large red circle around Detricus, move out of it or receive a bunch of damage.
Detricus’s Impact – After the Electric Pulse Detricus will teleport to you and hit you for a small amount of damage, he will also stun you for a few seconds.
The Yellow circle will chase you around – If you stay in it, it will turn orange, then red, and then explode, dealing a small amount of damage. You can let it catch you so the circle turns orange and stay stills, then run out of the orange circle before it turns red and explodes.
Hurricane – At 50% health, Detricus runs back to his platform. Of the 3 small machines nearby, two of them will have a blue protective circle around them. You must stand in one of the two circles or you will die.
He will cast this ability again at 25% health, but only one of the machines will be active, get in the blue circle quickly!

Opening the Gate
While you are in The Infinity Gate area, you should go up the steps and speak to
Sergeant Vicks at /setwaypoint 17160 7590 so he can open the Infinity Gate!
Your character will then always see the gate as open. This doesn’t actually ‘do’ anything, it’s just some visual fluff.. and it looks cool!
End of Storyline
That is the end of the Steppes of Infinity storyline.

Go in the entrance at /setwaypoint 15433 7187 then go around the 2 corners, turn left before the small slope, and swim down the helix tunnel to the very bottom.
TO COMPLETE: The quest completes when you pick it up. Completing the quest makes the nearby teleportation pad active so you don’t have to swim down to revisit the area!
Use the teleport pad to go back up to the outside world.
If you need to come back down again, use the teleport pad at /setwaypoint 15363 7285 to get back.
