Getting to Nightmare Tide zones
The Nightmare Tide areas include 4 main zones and a smaller island zone. Three of the main zones are on the main Nightmare Tide continent (Plane of Water), these are; Goboro Reef (60-61), Draumheim (62-63), and Tarken Glacier (64-65). To the south of these zones is the small level 65 island of Tyrants Throne. Planetouched Wilds is another level 65 zone, this is a huge land mass that was added to the Mathosian map.
The grey area on the eastern side of the Nightmare Tide continent is not a playable area.
When you reach level 58, the first portal in Goboro Reef will automatically open for you. You can go straight there and start questing, or you can wait til you are level 60 to pick up the breadcrumb quest from Tempest Bay that will lead you into the Goboro Reef zone.
The Nightmare Tide zones are water based, however you will be pleased to hear that only a small percentage of the quests actually take place underwater. For the vast majority of the time you will be on dry land!
The Nightmare Tide zones signify the true end to separate questline for Defiants and Guardians. Throughout the zones, all quests will be the same for both factions.
While your character is in the Plane of Water continent, you will have the buff called ‘Tidal Aura’. This buff allows you to breathe underwater, gives you increased swimming speed, and gives you ‘frog legs’ which make you jump extra high when jumping out of water.

Talk to the porticulum master of the Plaza portal in Tempest Bay

Right click the porticulum master again and select the first portal in the Goboro Reef zone of the Plane of Water.
Hand in the quest to Commander Blaith in Luminous Passage at
/setwaypoint 1640 6441
He is in the water swimming just below and to the right of where you port in.
Note: This quest counts towards the Goboro Reef quests cheevo ‘Righting the Reef’
